COVID-19

 

At PARKLIFE our top priority is the health and wellbeing of our guests, staff and suppliers. Below is a summary of the measures we have put in place to minimise the spread of COVID-19 and comply with Australian Federal and State Government requirements.

A full description of our practices and procedures is outlined in our COVID Safe Plan, which we are happy to provide on request. There are a number of ways you can assist us in keeping our venues safe and we encourage you to familiarise yourself with the initiatives below.

 

What we are doing

 

Social distancing

In accordance with the current Government two square meter rule, the PARKLIFE precinct can safely accommodate up to 2000 people. Thre is ample space for a COVIDSage event. Safe seating arrangements in place.

Air flow

PARKLIFE is outdoors with natural airflow.

Cleaning and hygiene

Our hygiene standards are best practice including abundant hand washing and sanitising facilities and stringent staff hygiene requirements. We have implemented increased cleaning of all high touch-points and scheduled venue deep cleans following each session.

Staff wellness

All staff are required to have their temperature checked at the beginning of each shift. Any team member with a temperature higher than 37.4° will be sent home and encouraged to seek medical advice.

Training

All managers and staff have undertaken COVID-19 safe training.

Communication

All attendees and staff will receive a document prior to the events explaining the expectations with regard to physical distancing, registration instructions, hygiene requirements, key health messages and safety policies.

Suppliers

Currently, our food and beverage suppliers are registered and temperature checked at the point of delivery.

Contact tracing

We have developed comprehensive tracing protocols ensuring we can contact guests if required. Records of staff shift attendance are kept electronically to ensure easy and accurate identification of attendees at specific times in line with Government requirements all guest details are digitally recorded and securely held for 28 days.

COVIDSafe Marshalls

Trained COVIDSafe marshalls will be onsite for all PARKLIFE sessions. The marshalls will assist with staff and guest registration, maintenance of physical distancing, safe behavior observation and direction to First Aid if required. Security staff will also be onsite.

Prior to your event, a point plan document will be emailed to you. Please read it carefully to ensure that understand your own personal COVIDSafe commitment.

Wellness

If you have any symptoms, please advise your organisation don’t come to the PARKLIFE precinct.

Arrival at the venue

PARKLIFE marshalls will greet you, confirm contact details and take your temperature. Please assist our staff with this process.

Please respect the cues we have put in place to assist with this and be aware of your interactions with other guests and staff.
